What is the working culture like at Maktel?
Maktel brings together the know-how of experienced employees with young talent. Its human resources approach is built on employee development, fair working conditions, transparent communication, and occupational health and safety.
Maktel operates with a team of 130 people. Roughly half of its employees have 15 years of tenure or more — this experience supports technical know-how and long-term organisational commitment.
Experience and technical knowledge transfer
The production experience and technical know-how of Maktel’s long-serving employees contribute to the development of new employees, young engineers and interns.
How are interns and new graduates evaluated?
Maktel regularly evaluates interns and young talent. Partnerships with vocational high schools, technical training institutions and universities let young people experience production discipline and engineering culture in an industrial setting. New graduate engineers and young professionals are considered for suitable positions and brought into technical and managerial roles.
What training do employees receive?
Maktel supports employees’ technical and personal development through continuous training. Depending on need, training is provided periodically in: technical training, quality training, occupational health and safety training, and role/competence training.
Working conditions and benefits
The core elements that support employee commitment at Maktel: fair and competitive working conditions, transparent communication, psychological safety, recognition, employee benefits, and development opportunities. Maktel aims to build a working culture where employees can share their ideas freely, see their contributions recognised, and feel a sense of belonging to the organisation.
How is employee contribution recognised?
Employees’ achievements and contributions are recognised at Maktel. Openly sharing positive performance is part of the corporate culture.
How are employee suggestions evaluated?
Employees’ ideas on production, quality, workplace safety and the working environment are taken into account. Maktel’s active suggestion system supports the evaluation of actionable ideas and employee participation in processes.
How is occupational health and safety managed?
Maktel regularly monitors its occupational health and safety processes. Authorised OHS specialists carry out periodic inspections at the facility. Training and preventive practices are maintained to reduce risk, ensure site safety and build employee awareness. This structure is supported by the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
